Welcome and thank you for your interest in the Everett Youth Symphony Orchestras.
The Everett Youth Symphony is comprised of two skill-graded orchestras and two chamber orchestras for advances students. All are led by outstanding professional conductors and music educators. EYSO orchestras rehearse every Monday during the school year and present three public concerts throughout the season. EYSO provides exciting challenges and opportunities to every young musician from the beginner to the advanced.
Placement in a group is based upon skill and experience as demonstrated in the audition. Returning musicians must audition each year.
Auditions being scheduled on request.
To schedule an audition appointment, complete the online REGISTRATION FORM. Once the application is processed you will receive an email confirming the date and time of your audition. Please contact us if you do not receive a reply within a week.

At the audition, you will be asked to:

- Play a 2-3 minute unaccompanied solo piece representative of your skills
- Sight read a brief passage of music selected by the adjudicators.
Please select and print the file that corresponds to your instrument and use this information to prepare for your audition. These instructions specify the scales, solo, sight reading, and additional requirements for each instrument.
